| Why Book a Master Photographer? |
|---|
|
Why do you need to book a Master Photographer or indeed any full-time, qualifed professional? Its an age old question, but one that has a very simple answer - Peace of Mind. Professionals who join associations and societies are not doing so out of vanity but are shewing their customers and clients that they are willing to have not only their work scrutinised but also their business operations. As a Master Photographer I know that my customers are cared for no matter what the situation. The MPA provide me with professional qualifications through a panel system to ensure that the quality of my work is always to a high standard, higher, indeed, than a non-member. The MPA ensures that I have full insurance both public and professional. They also ensure that my contracts are reviewed and kept up to date to take into account new legislation. The MPA sets me above other photographers because through regional and national competitions I can be awarded Photographer of the Year in various categories, non members do not have that option. But mainly the MPA give me and my clients peace of mind knowing that they are supporting me and my business with the sole intention of providing a high level of professional work for you, the customer. |
| Booking Your Wedding Photographer (Some Advice) |
|---|
|
When booking a wedding photographer, for the most important day of your life, we feel that it is necessary to visit their studio and look at lots of sample albums, not just one album, but lots. Never pay more than 25% of the cost of the package as a deposit. Its against the law. Also remember that you have, by law, seven days to change your mind without loss of deposit. O'Brien Cooper always gives the customer 30 days to change your mind if you wish. Be very weary of photographers that do not have a land-line telepone. A photographer giving you only a mobile number should be avoided at all costs. Always ensure that you have a list of all the provisions of the package and ALL the costs before signing anything. But above all ensure that the photographer provides you with a contract that has been endorsed by a legal professional and keep your copy safe. Remember that some photographers who offer really cheap deals and promise you the earth may not be what they seem. If you are offered a really cheap package it could be that the photographer is only just starting out in a career in photography or only works weekends. If a deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is. And remember that this is the most important day in your life so: "Never book a ONCE-IN-A-WHILE photographer for a ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME occasion" |
